Four years after its first output, APRH Records is proud to unveil “Touching Base”.

This project aims to showcase the wide diversity of subgenres around House Music. Bringing together a cast of European talents & friends, the 8 tracks double vinyl is heavily influenced by BAM, Soul, R&B and Funk. Altogether, the compilation is all about deepness, soulful harmonies, old school rhythms with hints of modern influences & techniques.

TOUCHING BASE I

To start off with the A side is exclusively made by our German friends

“To the Basement” is a downtempo deep yet sunny number from Berlin duo Nephews. Between the bumpy bassline, lovely breaks & lush chords, this track is the perfect mood lifter.

“Simpel'' closes this side with a serious heater from the unstoppable Retromigration. The Amsterdam based producer once again delivers a unique blend between sample infused rhythms, flute, synths & tight drumwork.

On the B side, head honcho DimSum delivers his first track “Up & Away” plus a wonderful remix by Swiss legend Alex Attias. On one hand, the original with some 90s R&B samples, trumpet, scatting acappella and entertaining drums, has been made to remind you the good old summer days. On the other hand, the remix is a hypnotic stomper. With deep chords, elaborate drums, sample chops & melancholic synth lines, closes the first vinyl with style.
